When we had a lead come in, I literally had one of those big bell that’s on the front of a ship, and I would start ringing it and be like, “new lead!” And I’d start yelling across the office because my rule was a new lead had to be called within 30 seconds. And the reason being is because typically the first person to call is the first person who’s going to get a hold of the person who is 80% more likely to close that deal.

The other part of that too is when you have a sales team that’s not dedicated, we have a care coordination team that does sales and they do all of it. The care coordination person that calls you is the person who is going to follow you through that journey. So the issue we were having was they’re trying to coordinate care on a day-to-day basis for over 100 patients, while also trying to follow up on leads, while also trying to follow up on new leads. So it was getting kind of bottlenecked.

So when we adopted Sally, now, as soon as that lead comes in, within 15 seconds, that leads to being called. Sally’s constantly following up on those leads and saying, hey I know we talked last week or whatever. And so we don’t have to think about those things. We can just concentrate on care coordination. And that’s a huge piece of stress off of my plate and the care coordination team’s plate. And it builds into that holistic, proactive care model where we’re able to keep that single focus minded.
