About The Position

Why Join Sensi.AI

Sensi.AI is transforming the world of home care through agentic AI - and we’re just getting started. As a hyper-growth startup, every team member has the opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives while working as part of a global, collaborative team in a flexible hybrid environment.

About the Role

As the Operations Lead, you are the "boots on the ground" engine for Sally, our AI-powered senior care solution. You will own the day-to-day Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) workflows, ensuring our team operates with precision, urgency, and accountability. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and tactical execution—balancing real-time performance monitoring with hands-on support to maintain peak operational stability.

This role is based in Austin, TX, with a hybrid work setup, combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Ownership: Lead daily HITL operations, managing real-time queues and resource allocation to ensure 100% SLA compliance.
  • Schedule Management: Design and maintain complex team schedules to ensure seamless shift coverage and maximum efficiency.
  • Performance Coaching: Lead daily huddles and provide direct, actionable feedback to drive team quality, speed, and professional growth.
  • Data Visibility: Build and maintain reporting dashboards (KPIs, accuracy, and productivity) to provide stakeholders with real-time operational health.
  • Process Optimization: Proactively identify workflow bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions to improve the HITL interface and output.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits of team execution to ensure the "Human-in-the-Loop" remains the gold standard for our AI training.
  • Strategic Support: Act as the primary escalation point for technical hurdles, stepping into hands-on execution whenever necessary to support the team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in operations, team leadership, or a similar role.
  • Experience managing frontline or shift-based teams.
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
  • Highly adaptable and comfortable in fast-changing environments.
  • Strong sense of ownership and urgency.
  • Analytical mindset with experience tracking KPIs and building reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on execution.
